To install, follow the instructions for your favorite OS. Right now our CLI has clients for macOS and Ubuntu. Keep an eye open, we are working to support more platforms.
Run this from your terminal:
wget -O- https://codepicnic.com/cli/download/linux | sh
To configure, first you need to get your credentials from your Dashboard. Once you have them pick your prefered config mode.
Run this from your terminal
codepicnic
Then inside the repl type 'configure'
CodePicnic> configure
Run this from your terminal:
codepicnic configure
You will be asked to enter your credentials, after the first time your keys and the generated token will be saved for future use.
The codepicnic command is the gateway to access CodePicnic's goodies on your own machine.
Either by using it in REPL mode (default mode by running codepicnic) or by running comands through it (check help below for extra info), you'll be able to interact directly with our platform.
Using codepicnic connect you will be able to remotely connect your consoles from the command line. Once inside you can execute commands, update your code, check logs, etc.
If you feel more comfortable working from your own terminal there's is no need to access the web interface, just connect and do your stuff.
With codepicnic mount you can work directly on your console's files as a local filesystem. Open your favorite editor, modify your files and all changes will automatically sync with your console.
mount is the command of choice if you prefer to work locally using your own tools.
The help command will be your guide when things appear to be lost. Either on the REPL mode or through the codepicnic command, you'll have a brief description of everything that can be done with the CLI.
